Arizona Daily Journal Miner, Prescott, Arizona Territory Saturday, January 5, 1907 Funeral Today - The funeral of the late Samuel Wells, who died at the home of Mr. and Mrs. John Forsythe, near Dewey, about midnight, Wednesday, will take place this afternoon at 2 o’clock. Interment will be held in the Citizen’s cemetery. ---------------------------------- Weekly Arizona Journal Miner, Prescott, Arizona Territory Wednesday, January 9, 1907, page 3, column 2 At a late hour Wednesday night, at the advanced age of 84 years, Samuel Wells died at the home of his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Forsythe, in the Agua Fria Valley, near Dewey. Deceased had been a resident of this section for a number of years, and was a man respected by all who knew him.
