| Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ >>> Published on Sunday, February 19, 2017 <<< Virginia McClain, 78, was called home too soon on Feb. 12, 2017. Born as Alice Virginia Laraway in Puerto Cortes, Honduras on Jan. 4, 1939, she was the beloved wife of Glyn McClain. Virginia was the mother of Phillip Laraway, step-mother of Tammy, Debbie, Katheryn, and the late Jim McClain, aunt of Katie Lynn and the late Jason Lynn, sister of Nalani Lynn, and daughter of the late June Hattier and the late Hugh Austin. She selflessly devoted her time to the local hospital nursery as a volunteer, and she was a member of Lake Havasu Republican Women’s Club and the Elks Club. Her generous, loving spirit touched the lives of many and she will be dearly missed by family and all who knew her. |
