Polly Simpson, 95, of Lake Havasu City, entered Heaven on Jan. 30,
2017.

She was born to Print and Gertrude Jordan on May 28, 1921 on their
farm in Desarc, Arkansas.

At a very young age, Polly learned to cook for her family of 11 and
worked the fields of the farm to assist in their support. She once
bragged that she had picked 99 pounds of cotton in one day.

Polly was raised in a Christian family and learned to love and or
help anyone who crossed her path. At 19, she moved to Long Beach,
California, where she and two cousins opened up a pie and café
business.

Soon, one of her best customers, Ralph, became her beloved husband
of 54 years. They married six weeks after their first meeting.
Staying in the Long Beach, California area, five years later, she
gave birth to their only child, Jimmy K. Simpson, in October 1946.

Coming to Lake Havasu City in 2007, Polly lived the remainder of her
life with family and the last four years at “Home Is Where the Heart
Is” with her many dear friends and loving caregivers. Polly was a
warm, caring person who was loved by everyone she met through just a
smile. She will be deeply missed. Remember, if you loved her, she
loved you first.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Ralph (Bud)
Simpson, six brothers, two sisters, and numerous aunts, uncles, and
cousins.

Polly is survived by her son, Jim Simpson; grandchildren Randy
Simpson and Wendy Ramos; great-grandchildren Monique Tressel, Megg
and Kade King; and great-great-grandson, Thadius Ralph Tressel.

Our family deeply thanks “Home Is Where the Heart is” and its
professional staff of loving caregivers who treated Polly as if she
was their own. Also to Hospice of Havasu for compassion and
professional services.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to “Home Is Where the
Heart Is.”

Services were placed in the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.
Thoughts and condolences can be made to the Simpson family at
