The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Thursday, February 2, 2017, page 5a Elton Harvey (Al) Johnson, son of the late Samuel Burton Johnson and Viola Jane Harvey Johnson, was born on March 8, 1931, in Phoenix Arizona. He entered into eternal rest at the Pioneer Home in Prescott, Arizona on Jan. 30, 2017, at the age of 85. He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Carla Jean Carroll Johnson; and his children, Michael Elton Johnson (Jocelyn), Gary Glen Johnson, Steven O’Dell Johnson, Karalee Rachael Hartley (Gary), Andrea Jaquita Harmon (Thomas), Eric Edison Carroll, Elisa Jean Evans (Scott), Timothy Duane Carroll (Renee), Alex Butler Carroll (Jackie), Rex David Carroll (Lynn); and over 150 grandchildren, his brothers Larry and Ronnie and his sister Darla. Elton is preceded in death by his mother and father, his late wife Marjorie Laverne Blake Johnson, sons Samuel Berton Johnson, Jeffrey Dean Johnson, Terrence Michael Carroll and Kevin Carroll, his daughter-in-law Shelly Carroll. His siblings Margarette, Evelyn, Wilmuth, Burton, Mildred, Sammy, Y’Vonna, Theron, Anona and Wade. A memorial service will be held at the Pioneer Home in Prescott, Arizona on Thursday, Feb. 2, 2017, at 10 am. The funeral service will be held at the L.D.S. Church, 1002 E. Easton Ave, Buckeye, Az 85326, Saturday, February 4, 2017 at 11:00 am with a luncheon to follow. Information provided by survivors.
