| The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Friday, February 3, 2017, page 5a Amalia (Mollie) Gutierrez Rodarte, our beloved mother, grandmother, aunt and friend, went to be with our Lord on Feb. 1, 2017. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Marciel Rodarte; her sons Ralph Jr. and Marc; and her daughters Annabelle and Margo Rodarte Malizio. Mollie was born in Williams, Arizona, on July 4, 1924. She married her childhood sweetheart, Ralph, and they lived in Prescott after his return from the service. She had ten children who were all born in Prescott. Mollie worked at the Gillis Department Store in the 1970s, and also at the Prescott Yavapai Community Hospital for nearly 40 years. Because of her incredible skills as a seamstress, Mollie taught sewing classes for the local 4-H Clubs and also taught students at St. Joseph’s Academy. She continued to sew until the last few months of her life. Mollie is survived by her son, Mathew; and her daughters, Patricia, Regina, Mary Helen, Connie, and Chris; many grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and even great-great-grandchildren. We will miss you, Mom, and Godspeed. You have created a legacy that will live forever. A rosary will be conducted at Sacred Heart Church on Friday, Feb. 3, 2017, at 10:30 a.m. A service will follow at 11 a.m. Please send any donations to Sacred Heart Church, Prescott, Arizona.
