He was born, raised and lived in Prescott all his life. He enjoyed family, friends, and people he just met. He could talk to anyone about anything. He worked hard and enjoyed his over 30 years at the City of Prescott. He never had a penny he kept, a watch he didn’t like, and always took time to buy a lottery ticket. He loved his dog Chico, doves, and lovebirds. Wherever George went he made a friend many of those friends were for a lifetime. He had his own way of getting the message across such as telling someone to slow down “take five,” letting someone know he agreed with them saying “you said the word,” enjoying fruits of his labor “I worked hard all my life,” letting you know he understands someone or something, “I know this or that or I know so and so until the day I die,” and his undying eagerness to lend a helping hand by being a friend to everyone. George will be missed and he left behind three sisters; an aunt; many nieces and nephews; many cousins and many friends. George had a memorable personality and charm. He enjoyed simple pleasures of life like chatting with friends and family or enjoying a good snack or meal. George enjoyed life and was grateful for all that came his way. Everyone has a “George story” to tell which shows just how much he impacted everyone by being himself. We all have our thoughts on the times spent with George, be them funny, serious, joking, laughing, happy, comical, caring, helping, loving, and the list goes on. So take a minute think of those times, relive them, enjoy them and SMILE as George would do the same. Services will be on Feb. 24, 2017, at Sacred Heart Church, 150 Fleury Street, Prescott, Arizona.
