ROMERO, Carmen 

COOLIDGE - Carmen E. Romero, 85, died Dec. 9, 2005 in Casa Grande.
Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. Wednesday at St. James Catholic Church. Rosary will be recited at 6. Funeral Mass will be celebrated there at 9 a.m. Thursday by the Rev. Marco Basulto. Burial will be in Valley Memorial Park.

Mrs. Romero was born May 5, 1920 in Scottsdale and was a lifelong Arizona resident. She loved being a homemaker and cooking for her family.

Survivors include a son, Edward Romero of Coolidge; two daughters, Ofelia Rivera of Coolidge and Helen Manzanedo of Phoenix; a sister, Helen Cara of Coolidge; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis; a son, Robert; and an infant son, Rogelio Romero.  Simes Mortuaries Coolidge Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
