| The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ Wednesday, March 8, 2017 Duke Warren Drescher of Wickenburg peacefully passed away on the night of Thursday, March 2, 2017, surrounded by his adoring parents, grandparents, and an army of loving family members at Phoenix Children’s Hospital. Duke was 8 months old and lived life to the fullest, complete with many trips to Disneyland, a Botts family tradition. Just like his mom, he lit up the room and brought smiles to everyone’s faces. “Lil Man” Duke was, like his dad, nothing less than the greatest fighter and tried his hardest to stay with us. Duke is survived by his parents Sally and Scott Drescher; two brothers Evan and Luke; sister Lola; maternal grandparents Creed and Berva Botts; paternal grandparents Tom and Sherry Hunt; uncles Brock Botts, Eric Hunt (Caitlin) and Darren Hunt; and aunties Jamie Hunt-Eschete (Travis) and Kellie Worthen (Derek). Duke’s life will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 9 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Wickenburg. Memorial gifts may be made in honor of Duke Drescher to the Ronald McDonald House of Phoenix. See Also: Find A Grave |
