Marjorie Mildred (Lester) Dearth

Marjorie Mildred Dearth, 96, of Lake Havasu City passed away March
2, 2017. She was born to George and Maude Lester April 30, 1920 in
Robstown, Texas.

During her working career, Marjorie was employed at Boeing
Aerospace. She took up many different interests and hobbies along
the way. Of those, she really enjoyed oil painting, crocheting,
teaching people the art of ceramics, and sewing, of which she
enjoyed in particular making men’s suits and wedding dresses. She
was a fantastic seamstress.

Marjorie is preceded in death by her parents George and Maude
Lester, husband James Dearth, son Wally Griffin, daughter Leslie
Anne, sisters Oleta, Inez and Ima Gene.

She is survived by daughters Lana Taylor of Bullhead City and Linda
Vann of Cathedral City, Calif., step-son Randy Dearth of Washington,
sister Mary Wilson of Houston, Texas, grandchildren: Kevin,
Stefanni, Randi, Cory, Cole, Amy and Randy, great-grandchildren:
Taryn, Chris, Michael, Randy, Cierra, Bo, Hayley, Jim, and Ryan and
nine great-great-grandchildren. Marjorie will be missed by many.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of Havasu.

Services were placed in the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.
