Elizabeth (Betty) Morris

Elizabeth “Betty” Morris, affectionately known to her friends as
“Betty Boop,” died in Lake Havasu City March 4, 2017.

Betty was born in Holytown, Scotland Feb. 28, 1926.

Betty led an interesting life of which she said, “There was never a
dull moment.” She loved life and enjoyed playing any and all games
with friends and family. In later life she particularly enjoyed
bunco and bingo, which she did three or four times a week. Betty
served two years in the British Army during WWII. She traveled
extensively overseas and in North America. Betty was married for 54
years to Art Morris, who passed away in 2005.

Betty is preceded in death by her son Barry Morris and husband, Art
Morris.

She is survived by her six children: Andrena Paladini, Jerry Morris,
Monica McHam, Stuart Morris, Brian Morris and Patti Ann Hill, as
well as 15 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

A funeral service is at Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church,
Monday, March 13, at 11 a.m. A light lunch is at Our Lady of the
Lake in the church hall following the service.

Services were placed in the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.
