Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ >>> Published on Wednesday, March 15, 2017 <<< Ila Marie Scheller, 79, of Lake Havasu City passed away March 4, 2017 in Havasu. A celebration of life is 11 a.m., March 18 in the dining area at the Elks Club in Havasu. Ila was born Nov. 15, 1937 in Ponca City, Oklahoma to Clarence and Helen Allyn. She attended high school in Santa Clara, California and finished her senior year at Winthrop high School, Iowa. She married Eugene Scheller Feb. 13, 1999 in Lake Havasu City. She was the owner and operator of Ila’s Adult Care Center. Ila is preceded in death by her parents Clarence and Helen Allyn, sister Betty Jo Shackleford, brother James Allyn and two sons, Steven Lammers and Kent Robert Lammers, and step-daughter Lori Gall. Ila is survived by her spouse Gene Scheller, children Craig Lammers and spouse Janet of Gilroy, Calif., Joan Lammers Hill and spouse Steve Hill of Lookingglass, Ore., Carole Powell and spouse Doug Harte of Seattle, Charles Allyn and spouse Molly of Frazeysburg, Ohio, and stepchildren Joel Scheller and spouse Stacey of Mesa, Ariz., Robert Scheller and spouse Myhki of Lake Havasu City, seven grandchildren: Steven Lammers, Darrol Decker, Dustin Hill, Ryan Rush, Jessica Lammers, Mason Lammers and Stacy Lammers, six stepgrandchildren: Ashley Dall, Damien Tran, Brandi Fossett, Kaley Scheller, Derek Scheller and five great-grandchildren: Steven, Sydney, Darrol, Jason and Nolan.
