KERR, Thomas J.

The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Wednesday, March 15, 2017, page 5a Everyone’s Friend, Animal Lover, Motorcycle Man and a Very Special Bingo Caller - Thomas Kerr passed away peacefully in his sleep March 8, 2017. He is survived by his wife, Michele Kerr; brother James Kerr; children Karen White and Tom Johnson; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Tom was always ready and willing to help and assist people; you might end up enduring one of his famously long explanations but he was there to be your champion. His love of family and friends tells the story, that’s just who he was. In his lifetime he enjoyed high school football, skiing the mountaintops at Lake Tahoe, RV road trips across America and, of course, his passion for Bingo. He was an intense player and a joyful caller of the game. He served his country in the military and worked more than 35 years for the phone company and worked the last 10 years at Kerco as an IT Manager. Tom’s wish was for everyone to enjoy a Celebration of his Life. Family and friends, please join us for the Celebration of his life at the Prescott Adult Center, 1280 E. Rosser St, Suite B, Prescott, AZ 86301, on Saturday, April 1, 2017, between 1:30 and 3:30 p.m. Condolence cards and letters may be mailed to the Prescott Adult Center at the above address, or to Ruffner-Wakelin Prescott Chapel, 303 S. Cortez St, Prescott, AZ 86303. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to your favorite charity in Tom’s name.
