| Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ >>> Published on Saturday, March 25, 2017 <<< Edward John Mueckl, 84, of Lake Havasu City, went home to be with his Lord March 21, 2017. Ed was born on Valentine’s Day, Feb. 14, 1933, to his German parents, George and Anna Mueckl, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Ed worked as a roofer and carpenter. He was the lithography manager at Milprint in Milwaukee and Mod-Pak in Buffalo, New York. A Packers fan, Ed enjoyed fishing and traveling. He ventured to Alaska, Germany, and Italy as well as many trips to northern Wisconsin with family. He was a member of the Elks, the Eagles and the Yacht Club. Ed is survived by two daughters, Sheryl Plese (John) and Pam Laur (Tom) and four grandchildren: Johnny, Luke (Jenny), Erika and Thomas. He is also survived by his brother Herman (Julianna) and sister Betty Wegner. Ed was preceded in death by his daughter, Roxanne Mueckl, his parents, and brother-in-law Otto. A celebration of Ed’s life is Sunday, March 26, noon- 3p.m., at the Elks Lodge, 3532 N. McCulloch Blvd. A memorial service for Ed is 3 p.m. Tuesday, March 28, at Lakeview Community Church, 1699 W.
