LITTLE, Fred R.

Weekly Journal Miner, Prescott, Arizona Wednesday, July 16, 1913, page 8, column 3 Fred Little Is Numbered With Dead (From Sunday's Daily) Fred Little, one of the best known of mining men in the county, passed away yesterday morning at Dewey, after a lingering illness of some years, due to Bright's disease and rheumatic ills. His affliction assumed a serious turn on Friday night and his death occurred suddenly and without any forewarning whatever, The death of this citizen is regretted by all who enjoyed his acquaintance, as a more upright man never lived. Arriving in this section in 1876, he followed mining, and owned several claims on which he was industrious to bring into a state of production. In all his dealings he was upright and generous, and had not an enemy, but hosts of friends. He was 65 years, a native of Bedford, Pennsylvania, where relatives live. The body is at Ruffner's and will probably be shipped home for burial in the family plot. News of the death of Mr. Little has caused expressions of sincere sorrow in this city, where he was well known and enjoyed the confidence of all. Transcriber's note: Mr. Little is buried at the Citizens Cemetery in Prescott, Arizona.
