Rita was born Dec. 23, 1967, in Flagstaff, Arizona. She graduated from NAU with a degree in geology and taught geology at Yavapai College, Prescott, Arizona. Rita is survived by her husband of 22 years, Richard Becker; daughter Skylar; father John Kovacsics; mother Katherine Rowland; brother Christopher Rowland, his wife Julie and their children, Landon and Ashley. Rita is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins. The family would like to thank the staff at Yavapai Regional Medical Center, Hospice Compassus, and Affordable Burial & Crematorium LLC.
