| Arizona Republic (Phoenix, AZ) Sunday, January 10, 2016 Angel Vianna Vega passed away on January 3, 2016. She was born on April 9, 1975 in Phoenix and attended Alta Loma School from kindergarten until 8th grade. Angel attended Peoria High School before transferring to Dysart High School where she graduated. At the time of her death she was attending Glendale Community College working on a degree to become a probation officer. Angel was a member of Phi Theta Kappa at GCC. She worked with Head Start as a Teacher Aide in Glendale and Wickenburg and most recently was a case manager with Maricopa County Adult Probation. Angel attended Christ Church of the Valley. She is survived by her parents Ramon & Carol Vega, children Cierra Porras & Hiram Porras, siblings Patricia Vega-Tabat, Raymond Vega, Konnie Vega-Marcum, Norma Brasda Petito, George Brasda & Melanie Lea Vega and Godparents Victor & Carmen Andrade. Angel was preceded in death by her birth mother Juana Ojeda Vega and a brother Mark Adolfo Vega. A memorial service celebrating Angel's life will be held on Friday, January 15, 2016 at 10AM at West Resthaven Funeral Home, 6450 W. Northern Avenue, Glendale.
