| Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ >>> Published on Saturday, April 1, 2017 <<< Claude Ray Douglas, 72, of Lake Havasu City passed away March 28, 2017. Claude was born in San Francisco, California to Thomas Herman and Zella Ethyl Douglas on June 12, 1944. Claude was an Army Vietnam Veteran from 1968-1973. He worked for PGE as a lineman and supervisor for 37 years. Claude enjoyed watching sports, working puzzles, scratchers, and gardening. He enjoyed his four-legged grandchildren Kendall Marie and Cherry. He enjoyed a cup of coffee with family and friends, especially his daily cup of coffee at Denny’s restaurant. Beloved father to Corey, Michelle and Ashley Douglas, beloved brother of Elmer Douglas, Beverly Merritt, Kenny Douglas, Roy Douglas and Johnny Douglas, grandfather to Chloe and Kira Douglas, soulmate to his beloved Flo Johnson, who loved him to the moon and back. Claude was also uncle to many nieces and nephews. A private family service is planned. Services were placed in the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.
