LIVINGSTON, John

Prescott Journal Miner, Prescott, Arizona Territory Wednesday, August 30, 1911, page 4, column 3 John Livingston Succumbs To Injuries John Livingston succumbed yesterday morning at 3:30 o'clock at Mercy hospital from injuries received Sunday afternoon near Senator, when he lost control of his team and was thrown underneath the heavily loaded wagon and internally injured. From the first it was believed he could not long survive and after suffering agonizing pain, death came as a relief. Mr. Livingston was one of the best known pioneer residents of this county, arriving thirty-five years ago from Nevada, when a mere boy. He followed various vocations, from a cowpuncher to freighting, and enjoyed an excellent reputation for his industrious habits and genial fellowship. He leaves a sister, Mrs. A. M. Zesehoener, residing in Oakland, Cal., a brother in the eastern states, who is a professor in a college, and a half-brother, W. R. Kenton, at Florence, Arizona. No arrangements have been made for burial until his relatives are heard from. Transcriber's note: Mr. Livingston is buried in an unmarked grave at the Citizens Cemetery in Prescott, Arizona.
