Geneva J. (Scott) Gretter

Geneva J. “Genny” Gretter, 85, passed away April 2, 2017 in Lake
Havasu City. She was born to Charles and Laura (Farnsworth) Scott
July 19, 1931 in Grant City, Missouri.

Genny married Cletus V. Gretter in Virginia City, Nev., Sept. 9,
1971 and they shared 37 years together. She worked many years as a
waitress and a grocery store cashier. Her favorite job from which
she retired from was the Food Program Manager at St. Vincent De
Paul’s. She started out as a volunteer and wound up working there
and truly enjoyed it. She lived in Havasu full-time for 27 years and
prior to that she was a “snowbird” for 18 years. She enjoyed
fishing, liked to travel and was a member of the Emblem Club. What
she loved most was her children and grandchildren.

Genny is preceded in death by her husband Cletus V. Gretter, parents
Charles and Laura Scott, son Ronald Gene Weddle, her siblings Clyde
Scott, Raymond Hagan, Glen Scott and Harvey Lee Scott.

She is survived by her sons Carl (Pat), Rick (Becky) and David
(Barbara) Weddle, daughters Laelonnie Lea Boughton and Patricia Mac
Donald, 17 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and 16 great-great-
grandchildren.

Services were placed in the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.
