David Bruce Beaven, 66, born Feb. 9, 1951, in Riverside, Calif., died
April 3, 2017, in Chino Valley, Arizona.

David Bruce Beaven, age 66, of Chino Valley, Arizona, passed away on
April 3, 2017. David was born on Feb. 9, 1951, in Riverside,
California, to parents, James B. and Ruby (Jaynes) Beaven.

David is survived by his Wife, Patricia Beaven; daughters, Elizabeth
Adger of Long Beach, California, Captain Melissa Elledge, U.S. Army,
stationed in Washington, DC; sons, David Beaven II, Jesse Beaven and
Douglas Beaven of Chino Valley, Arizona; sister, Lori Voiles of
Riverside, California; brother, James Beaven of Riverside, California;
grandsons, Evan Adger and Strad Beaven.

Dave was the eldest of three children born to Bruce & Ruby in
Riverside, California. He and his wife, Patsi, moved to Prescott in
1979, then to Chino Valley in 1981.

They raised five children, as well as becoming foster parents for many
others.

He was a Deacon in the Seventh-Day Adventist Church where he held an
active role in the Pathfinder Youth Program. He owned and operated
Dave’s Window Cleaning, as well as working EMS for Medevac, Lifeline,
STAT Medical Services and with the Indian Health Services for the
Hualapai Tribe in Peach Springs. Dave was a volunteer fireman for the
Chino Valley Fire Department for many years. Dave loved the outdoors,
especially hunting and fishing. He will be loved and missed by all who
knew him.

Celebration of Life will be held on Easter Sunday, April 16, 2017, at 4
p.m. at the Prescott Seventh-Day Adventist Church, located at 2980
Willow Creek Road, Prescott. At David’s request, he will be scattered
at his favorite hunting spot.
