-------------------------

Kimberly Sue “Kitty” Eling, 38, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on April 7, 2017, in Prescott, Arizona. Kitty was born on May 6, 1978, in Cookeville, Tennessee, but grew up in Michigan, where she spent much of her life.

There she met the love of her life, and married him before moving out West. Over the past 15 years, she resided in Arizona. Known by many titles, Kitty was a wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, niece, aunt, cousin and a friend. She shone brightly in so many lives. She gave and gave of herself, often until she was drained of all her energy. She lived with extraordinary passion.

Anyone who knew Kitty could attest to her serious love of cats, some would say that she was the “Cat Whisperer” because of her uncanny ability to truly understand them, as they understood her.

Her dream was to rescue tigers and other large cats, but her ultimate dream was to look after her children, and be a loving wife. Kitty’s children and husband meant the world to her. She dedicated herself to caring for her family, and did her very best despite her chronic pain and illness that she suffered.

We can now find comfort in the fact that the pain she lived with has been silenced, but her family and memories of Kitty will live on in our hearts.

Kitty is survived by her loving husband Rob; son Tyler, age 22; daughter Aponi, age 3; mother Kathy; as well as grandchildren, stepchildren, and many other family and friends.

Memorial services were held at Lynx Lake on April 11, 2017. Arrangements by Affordable Burial & Cremation, LLC.
