| The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Thursday, April 13, 2017, page 7a Ezra Walter Miller Jr. (J.R.), born in Brighton, Michigan, on May 22, 1942, passed away on March 31, 2017, in Payson, Arizona. He and his family moved to Prescott, Arizona, in 1971, where he still resided. He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Carol A. Miller. He is survived by his companion Judy Ledsworth; sons Tim (Cheryl) of Phoenix, Barry (Lori) of Redding, California; daughter Brooke (David) of Prescott; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; other family members and lots of friends. J.R. enjoyed camping, the outdoors and taking trail rides in his side-x-side. He was very loved and will be greatly missed. J.R. could come across as kind of gruff but was very kind and willing to help anyone with anything if he could. Per his wishes there will be no services.
