Donald B. Delaney

Donald E. Delaney, night inspector in the Santa Fe yards, died of heart trouble at 6:45 o'clock this morning in Mercy hospital, having been ill less than two hours.

Delaney went on duty at 7 o'clock last night and worked until 5 this morning, when complained of feeling sick to a couple of his friends, and went over to a baggage truck on the station platform to sit down. He complained of feeling worse and they took him to his home on Granite street. Dr. Southworth was called and upon his advise Delaney was removed to Mercy hospital.

The deceased was a veteran of the world war, having served with the US expeditionary forces in France.

Delaney, who was about 38 years old, was a widower. His wife died two years ago in Phoenix.

Funeral arrangements have not been completed.
