Weekly Journal Miner, Prescott, Arizona Territory Wednesday, April 8, 1903, page 4, column 4 The Local News of the City and County (From Tuesday's Daily) Christopher Davis, mention of whose serious illness was made in the Journal-Miner yesterday, died Monday afternoon at Val Verde, aged 68 years. Mr. Davis was the father of John L. Davis, superintendent of the Val Verde smelter. He had resided at Val Verde for some time ad was respected and beloved by all who knew him. His wife died only a few months ago. The remains were brought in last evening from Val Verde, and were taken to the undertaking parlors of P. Mohn & Co.
