Dolly Pacific (Durham), 81, of Lake Havasu City, passed away
peacefully at her home on April 25, 2017.

Dolly was born in Roseville, Michigan on March 14, 1936. As a young
girl, she was an excellent student and graduated from Mount Clemens
High School when she was only 16. Dolly was voted Senior Class Clown
for her sharp sense of humor. She earned a Bachelor of Science
degree in business in just three short years from California Baptist
College at age 50.

In 1953, Dolly married Lewis Pacific in Mt. Clemens, Mich. They
moved to California, raised five children and resided most of their
lives in Riverside. In 1968, they moved to Melbourne, Australia and
returned four years later to settle back in Riverside. While raising
their children, the couple owned/operated two fast food restaurants
at two different times, one in Riverside, the other in Corona,
Calif. After the restaurants, Dolly was recruited to manage and
solicit new accounts for a growing local community bank and won
multiple awards along the way.

In retirement, Dolly and Lew would go on to build a house in Lake
Havasu City. She spent her free time volunteering at an Alzheimer’s
facility, quilting and connecting with friends and neighbors in her
beloved community, where they spent the rest of their lives.

Dolly is preceded in death by her parents, Butler and Alma Durham;
brothers, Butler Jr. and Leon; oldest child, Louis, and beloved
husband and best friend of 64 years, Lewis Frank Pacific.

Dolly is survived by her children, Pam Pacific, Frank Pacific,
Daniel Pacific, Tim Pacific; 10 grandchildren and seven great-
grandchildren.

Dolly’s warm, always expressive love and sense of humor will be
deeply missed by those who knew and appreciated her.

Per Dolly’s wishes, there will be a closed private ceremony for
immediate family.

In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Hospice of Havasu, 365
