| Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ >>> Published on Thursday, May 4, 2017 <<< Eleanor Kay Allen died April 25, 2017. She was born in Las Vegas, New Mexico on March 2, 1944, the daughter of Glenn S. and Evelyn (Lepper) Allen. Eleanor lived in Las Vegas for 62 years before relocating to Lake Havasu City 11 years ago. She loved people and being around them. Eleanor was proud of her family. She loved church, Catholic Daughters, the Senior Center and playing bingo. She was a sweet, gentle human being and never complained. Eleanor never meet anyone she didn’t like. She made friends with shuttle and cab drivers. She just wanted to please. Her life was never easy, but she was happy and content with herself. She was the true picture of innocence. She loved all sports especially baseball, football and basketball. She is survived by her mother Evelyn Allen of Lake Havasu City, brother Stanley (Patsy) Allen of Altus, Oklahoma, sisters Linda (William) Draier of Lake Havasu City, and Maryann (Peter) Hirth of Dexter, Michigan. She is preceded in death by her father Glenn S. Allen. Donations and contributions can be made to River Valley Hospice. |
