| Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ >>> Published on Tuesday, May 2, 2017 <<< >>> July 28, 1933— March 24, 2017 <<< Ethel Kendall-Clawson, 83, died March 24. She was born in Wayne, New Jersey. A longtime resident of this desert community, she moved to Lake Havasu City in 1972. Ethel was a beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a very active volunteer at the VFW; she helped with the children’s Christmas party and the assembling of holiday food baskets. She also loved crocheting. Ethel will be dearly missed by many people. She is survived by her two children, Joseph Varcardipone of Indiana and Sharon Clarke (Robert) of Lake Havasu City, grandchildren Amanda Rund of Indiana, Matt West and Erik West of Havasu, great-grandchildren Isaiah and Delilah of Indiana and Wade West of Lake Havasu. Ethel also is survived by her sister Jane Ruggiero–Hinajosa, brother Henry Von See (Marge) plus many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her grandson Adam West. The family extends special thanks to Hospice of Havasu. |
