Sharline Diane (Dwinell) McDaniel

Sharline Diane McDaniel, 84, passed April 19, 2017 in Murrieta,
California.

Born April 10, 1933 in Los Angeles, she was the daughter of Nellie
(Lucas) and Richmond (fondly called Bud by family and friends)
Dwinell.

Sharline was married to her beloved husband James Burton Joplin
McDaniel for 53 years. He passed away Sept. 15, 2003 in Lake Havasu
City. James and Sharline resided in Brea, California from 1954 to
1991. They moved to Lake Havasu City in 1991 to open Sir James Cafe.

Sharline lived a very full and giving life. She loved coordinating
get-togethers with family and friends. She was active in Camp Fire
USA, Western Welcome Club of Arizona, Red Hat Society and the
Supreme Emblem Club of the United States of America for more than 35
years as past president of Fullerton Emblem Club #469 and current
member of Buena Park Emblem Club #340. She would want us to mention
her sisters in Emblem with whom she enjoyed many life adventures and
vacations. As an avid and gifted artist, she enjoyed painting desert
landscapes and ceramics. Sharline was dearly loved and will be
missed.

Sharline is survived by her sister Karen Dwinell, three children:
eldest son Charles McDaniel, daughter Sherry Sims Goff (Randy) and
youngest son James R. McDaniel (Kimmy); grandchildren Holly
McDaniel, Justin Goff and Dylan McDaniel & Kyle McDaniel; great-
grandchildren Tristen Goff and brother-in-law Rudy Pappas.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister Jackie
Pappas, great-granddaughter Faith Goff and son-in-law Curtis Goff.

Sharline requested that no service be held. In lieu of flowers,
contributions can be made to Hospice of Havasu, 365 S. Lake Havasu
Ave., Lake Havasu City, AZ 86405. Murrieta Valley Funeral Home was
