Another Old Timer's Death.

W. H. Greenup was found dead this morning near the county hospital, where he has been for a month or more. It is said that he had been missing from there since yesterday evening, but as his case was not considered alarming at all it was supposed he had come to town, as he had been in here on Monday.

Deceased was 56 years old. He came to Prescott from St. Joseph, Missouri, in 1865, and has resided in this section ever since.

For the past few years he has been engaged in mining in the Santa Maria country, but on account of ill health he came to Prescott about two months ago. He was first taken to the Sisters' hospital, where he remained for about ten days, when he was removed to the county hospital. He was a very quiet man and a good citizens.

The county took charge of the remains with a view of burying them, but P. L. Kastner, who had been a long time friend of the deceased, took the matter in hand and will give him a Christian burial. The funeral will take place tomorrow, Friday, afternoon at 3 o'clock from Logan's undertaking rooms.

Transcriber's note: Mr. Greenup is buried in an unmarked grave at the Citizens Cemetery in Prescott, Arizona.
