Arrangements by Affordable Burial and Cremation. ------------------------- The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Sunday, May 7, 2017, page 6a Bill Hays, 90, passed away on April 29, 2017 in Prescott, Ariz. Bill was born March 23, 1927 in Kansas City, Kan., to Joseph and Ilene (Steele) Hays. Bill started his electronics career at the age of 10. He joined the Navy in 1942 by falsifying his age. He was stationed in Washington, D.C., and served aboard the USS Storm King. He was self-employed his entire adult life in the electronics industries. He is preceded in death by sisters, Margaret and Doris and his brothers, Donald and Jack. No local services will be held. A full Military Service will be held at the Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia at a later date. Arrangement by Affordable Burial & Cremation, LLC. Information provided by survivors. |
