| Camp Verde Bugle, Camp Verde, Arizona Saturday, May 13, 2017 Luella Mae Ramundt, 88, of Cottonwood, died peacefully on May 5, 2017 at Valley View Care Hospice. Luella was born May 19, 1928 in Robbinsdale, Minnesota. Lu was extremely creative and artistic. After retirement, she apprenticed to become a skilled gold/silversmith. She designed amazing pieces of original jewelry. Her husband Harlyn proudly wears her intricate custom bolo ties. Lu spent many hours assembling unique collages with themes varying from Southwestern culture to Rock and roll. Visitors to her home always marveled at her endless imagination in creating these pieces of art. One of Lu’s favorite activities was making brightly colored glass bead bracelets that she gave to anyone who admired them, especially children. Lu & her husband Harlyn enjoyed many family trips, especially cruises. These family vacations created lasting treasured memories for their children and grandchildren. Lu’s outgoing, one of a kind personality and sharp wit will be greatly missed by all. Luella is survived by her husband of 68 years, Harlyn Ramundt, children Craig Ramundt, Sandra Ramundt, Dean Ramundt, grandchildren Lindsey Ramundt, Kyle Ramundt and great grandson Mason. The family wishes to thank all of those who cared for Luella, especially Valley View Care. |
