Annie Ruth (Hoover) Brown

Annie Ruth Brown, age 81 of Grand Blanc, passed away on March 2, 2016 at Genesee Care Center, under the care of Dr. Larry Braver and their excellent staff. She lived there for eight years and was in hospice care when she passed away.

Annie was born June 28, 1934 in Hickman County, Tennessee the daughter of Blake Donald Hoover and Nola Myrtle Hoover.

She was preceded in death by her husband Leslie A. Brown and son, Robert Ray Turner (Bobby T). Bobby T. has two children, Jennifer and Jeramy Turner, two step-daughters, Denice and Sandy. Also surviving are daughters, Frances (Franklin) Grew and grandson Buster Grew of Wickenburg, AZ., granddaughter, Kimberly Collie, great granddaughter, Jessie of Florida, Charlotte Wattles and grandson Bobby Wattles of Pelsor, Ark., great granddaughter, Natallie, sister Mary Fountain and niece Cindy Fountain of Mich.

Annie worked in factories and as a waitress at Marjo's. She was a caregiver for her mother, husband and son for years.

She will be laid to rest in a graveside service on May 10, 2016 at Crestwood Memorial Cemetery, 2020 E. Hill Rd., Grand Blanc, MI at 2:00 p.m.

We will miss a mother who was a great person. The family requests no flowers but give to a charity of your choice.
