Paul Lexa passed away on May 15, 2017. He was born in Racine,
Wisconsin to Charles F. Lexa and Helen Mihel.

Paul grew up and lived in Wisconsin in his early years. He married
Judith Wilson in March 1958. They had three children and decided to
move to California in 1962.

Paul graduated from Los Angeles Trade Tech College and became a
master plumber. After working in construction and being in the
plumbing business, he was employed by the Santa Ana School District.
Leaving a management position after nine years, he went to work as a
facilities director for the Los Angeles College of Chiropractic,
only to retire after 14 years in 2000.

Paul moved to Lake Havasu City, and having nothing really to do, he
liked to meet people. He was involved with working with boys in
California for over 25 years with the Boy Scouts of America and wore
many hats.

In Havasu, he was involved with hospice, the County Health
Department, American Red Cross, Cancer Society, AARP as a tax aide
and senior driving instructor. He was a former President of an AARP
chapter. Paul was a former Navy Reservist, a member of the Eagles,
AARP, Senior Center, American Red Cross, and Senior Friends. He
loved to travel in his motor home and visited 49 of the 50 United
States.

He is preceded in death by his parents; Charles and Helen Lexa;
daughter, Catherine; brother, Charles; wife of 51 years, Judith.

He is survived by his sons, Michael and Scott, four grandchildren
and six great-grandchildren.

A funeral service is noon Monday, May 22, at Lietz-Fraze Funeral
Home Chapel.

Services were placed in the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.
