Peter Stanley Baker, 73, of Black Canyon City, AZ passed away on April 28, 2016 at home with his wife of 53 years by his side. Peter was born on December 15, 1942 to Stanley Peter Baker and Cecilia Ann Baker of Pontiac, MI.

In 1963, Peter married Janey Sue McCorkle. During his marriage he worked for Ford Motors Plant, and was also a Semi Truck Driver Deliveryman. Peter and his wife had three sons born in 1964, 1965, and 1969. In 1979, Peter and his family moved from Cadillac, MI to Phoenix, AZ. After Peter moved to Arizona, he worked for Courtesy Chevrolet, worked in construction, and also owned, managed, and ran several bar businesses.

Peter was preceded in death by his Father: Stanley, his Mother: Cecilia, his Brother: Patrick, and his Aunt: Genevieve Burkett.

He is survived by his Wife: Janey Sue, his Sons: Peter Douglas (Elizabeth), Todd William (Mary), Jeffrey Scott, his Grand Daughters: Anna Elizabeth (John), Rachel Alys, and his Great Grandson: Douglas Alyn.

Peter S. Baker will be cremated at Phoenix Memorial Park and Mortuary.

Peter was a loving, kind, and thoughtful Husband, Father, Grand Father, Great Grand Father, and Father-In-Law. May he rest in heaven while God watches over his family and friends during their time of sorrow and need.
