Petit, a resident of Prescott for 48 years, died early this morning at the Arizona Pioneers Home. She was 83 years old, and had resided at the home since April 18, 1951. Mrs. Petit was born in Cortland Ohio, Jan. 20, 1872. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Louise K. Gleason, Upland, Calif., and a son, Major Joe F. Petit, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Dayton, O. Mr. Petit will arrive today. Funeral services will be held Monday at 10 a.m. in the Ruffner Funeral Home chapel. The Rev. Don L. Mackay, pastor of the First Methodist Church, will officiate with interment to follow in the family plot in the Odd Fellows cemetery.
