SEARS, Dr. Cedric A. 
Dr. Cedric A. Sears, age 90, passed away November 21, 2004, in Phoenix, Arizona. Dr. Sears was a former pastor and evangelistic minister, having traveled ex-tensively with Youth For Christ International as well as ministering across the United States and Canada. Pastoring the First Baptist Church of Sunnyslope and West Sedona Baptist Church, he was in the ministry for 70 years before retiring in Phoenix. 

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Bertha Sears of Phoenix, daughters Deborah Mathewson of Georgia, Becky Wilson of Phoenix, and Mary Bentzel of Pennsylvania, 11 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 1 brother, Ernest Sears of Massachusetts, 1 sister, Edith Kuhn of Michigan, and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held in Phoenix at a future date.  Published in The Arizona Republic on 11/24/2004.
