George A. Rose, 86, of Paulden, Arizona, died May 31, 2017, in Paulden.
He was born on July 16, 1930, in Vanita Oklahoma, to George and Mae Rose.
He is survived by his wife, Joan Rose; four daughters, Candace, Cindy, Georgann and Jennifer; two stepsons, Kevin and Kris; one stepdaughter, Chellie; nine grandkids; and 10 great-grandkids.
He is predeceased in death by his parents; brother, Robert; and sister, Leita Mae.
George served as Operation Manager for Thunderbird Freight Lines until 1982, owned a trucking company of his own and drove school buses after his retirement. He had 4-H groups for 25 years. George served in Korea from 1951 to 1953 in the Army Transportation Group.
A Celebration of Life will take place on June 10, 2017, at 11 a.m., at the Chino Valley United Methodist Church, officiated by Pastor Mike Keffer.
