Rose, 86, of Paulden, Arizona, died May 31, 2017, in Paulden. He was born on July 16, 1930, in Vanita Oklahoma, to George and Mae Rose. He is survived by his wife, Joan Rose; four daughters, Candace, Cindy, Georgann and Jennifer; two stepsons, Kevin and Kris; one stepdaughter, Chellie; nine grandkids; and 10 great-grandkids. He is predeceased in death by his parents; brother, Robert; and sister, Leita Mae. George served as Operation Manager for Thunderbird Freight Lines until 1982, owned a trucking company of his own and drove school buses after his retirement. He had 4-H groups for 25 years. George served in Korea from 1951 to 1953 in the Army Transportation Group. A Celebration of Life will take place on June 10, 2017, at 11 a.m., at the Chino Valley United Methodist Church, officiated by Pastor Mike Keffer.
