| Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ >>> Published on Wednesday, June 7, 2017 <<< Bob Gene Whitehead, 78, of Lake Havasu City, passed away April 28, 2017. He was born Feb, 6, 1939 in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas to Joseph and Iva Whitehead. Five years later, the family moved to St. Louis where Bob graduated from high school and then signed up for the United States Marines. He served four years. He then worked for Dynalectric / EMCOR. He and his wife Carole retired to Havasu in 2000. Bob loved playing tennis and also going fishing. Bob is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Iva Whitehead, his sisters Geraldine, Glendora and Betty. He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Carole, sons Robert and Benjamin Whitehead of Riverside, California, and brother Marion “Whitey” from Forest City, Arkansas. |
