Ronald Ervin Schilousky

Ronald Ervin Schilousky of Lake Havasu City passed away May 23,
2017.

Ronald was born June 17, 1954 in Beatrice, Nebraska to Raymond
Patrick Schilousky and Pauline Faye (Fitzsimmons) Schilousky Draney.
He was living in Kanab, Utah in December 1972 when he met Vivian
Ponciano. They married Aug. 11, 1973 and moved to Lake Havasu City
where they raised a family.

Ronald worked as a sewist at Barco, Hydro Dynamics, and London
Bridge Linens. In November 1991 he founded AIDS Outreach of Western
Arizona. In 2000, he started working for the Mohave County
Department of Health & Social Services as an intake officer. He
continued his work helping the HIV/AIDS community through the
special projects division, where he worked until he passed away.

In December 1994. Ronald received the volunteer service award from
the Arizona Department of Health Services. He was honored on Dec.
17, 1999 for his dedicated service to the HIV/AIDS community in
Western Arizona.

He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his
children, Joseph Patrick Schilousky of Lake Havasu City, Ronda Lee
Schilousky of Phoenix, granddaughter Tanisha Jo Schilousky of Las
Vegas, Nevada and his ex-wife Vivian Jo Schilousky of Lake Havasu
City.

Ronald was a very kind hearted and loving man. Our father,
grandfather and best friend. He will be greatly missed. “Remember
the good times. Cry happy tears” “Life is but a flicker in time”.
