| The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Sunday, June 4, 2017, page 6a Jean Ellen O’Leary was born March 9, 1927 in Jackson Michigan, the middle child of Alicia (Malek) and Matthew Diffenderfer. She passed away on May 14, 2017 in Georgia. She met the love of her life, William David O’Leary, in the second grade. They married after he served in WWII on November 18, 1950 and were fortunate to share 60 years together. For many years Jean worked as a Medical Assistant. Until recently, due to ill health, Jean resided in Mayer Arizona where she loved living on her mountain. She treasured her friends and the community. Jean is survived by her daughter, Maureen O’Leary of Salem Oregon, sister-in-law, Eileen O’Leary of Hanover Horton Michigan, grandson, Timothy Loy of Rock Springs, Arizona, great grandchildren Toriana and Preston Loy of Humbolt Arizona and many nieces and nephews. Jean was predeceased by her husband Bill, son Timothy, sister Dorothy and brother Richard. Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday June 6 at 10:00 a.m., at St. Joseph Catholic Mission Church in Mayer Arizona, followed by a luncheon at the Church. Inurnment will be at 2:00 p.m., at Prescott National Cemetery, Prescott Arizona. Information provided by survivors. |
