| Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ >>> Published on Thursday, June 1, 2017 <<< Michael “Mike” Steven Weatherhead, 68, of Lake Havasu City, passed away May 22, 2017 at 2:35 a.m. in Walnut, California. He was born Feb. 17, 1949 in Pico Rivera, California to Leon and Joy Weatherhead. He attended St. Hilary Catholic School and later Whittier High School. He was a longtime employee of Manning Beef in Pico Rivera as well as a beloved school custodian at Nautilus Elementary School in Havasu. Everyone knows how much Michael loved his family, cars, motorcycles and boating. But most of all, they remember his joy for life and genuine happiness. He is survived by two daughters, Amber Weatherhead and Emily Ann (Weatherhead) Campos, grandchildren, Zachary, Julia, Isaac, and Francesca, sister Susan; several cousins, nieces and nephews, as well as loving friends. A Catholic Rosary and Mass will be held in honor of Michael at St. Hilary Catholic Church on Friday, June 2, 2017, with the Rosary at 9:30 a.m. and Mass at 10:30 a.m. |
