Margaret Munkers
Kanab, Utah

Margaret Christine Munkers passed away Monday, May 9, 2016. She always said how much she loved life and wanted to live to be 100 years old, she almost made it, she was 96 when she passed away.

Margaret was preceded in death by her husband Thomas A. Munkers in 2012.

She enjoyed and was very good at painting pictures, song writing, short stories and has had many of her poems published. She also enjoyed music and dancing very much.

Margaret was born and raised on a farm with 10 siblings in Wadena, Minnesota. During WW2 she moved to California and worked at an airplane manufacturing plant as a riveter. While living in California she met and married Thomas Munkers, the love of her life. They spent 68 years together and were blessed with three daughters of which she leaves behind; Leda Andersen of Wickenburg, AZ, Terry Cottrell of St. George, UT, and Maggie Scott of Castaic, California. She also leaves behind 5 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great-grandchildren.

She is already deeply missed.
