Frank McKinney passed away peacefully in his home in Lake Havasu
city, Arizona, on June 21, 2017. He was born on February 25, 1927 in
Skiatook, Oklahoma. He was a lifelong resident of San Bernardino,
California and lived at Lake View Terrace Memory Care the last four
years before moving in with his family.

Frank was married to the love of his life, Carole Mae McKinney for
64 years until she passed in 2013.

Frank was retired from the Operating Engineers Local #12, as a heavy
duty mechanic in the construction industry. He also served in the
United States Army during WWII and the Korean War.

Frank enjoyed meeting people, making friends, and telling his
stories to all. He enjoyed gardening, fixing things, and tinkering
around the garage.

Frank is survived by his children; Thomas (Stephanie), of Lake
Havasu City, Arizona, Virginia Tinsley, of Portland, Oregon, and
Kathryn (Jerry) Fehrenbach, of Salton Sea, California; four
grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

An open house and Celebration of Life will be held at the home of
Tom and Stephanie McKinney at 11:00am on Saturday, July 8, 2017. A
graveside service will be held at the Riverside National Cemetery at
10:00am on Friday, July 28, 2017.

Services were placed in the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.
