| San Bernardino County Sun (San Bernardino, CA) Thursday, June 13, 1963, p. D-2 R.P. Bleeker Funeral Set For Today Victorville--Funeral services for Richard P. Bleeker, 53, killed Sunday in an automobile crash near Banning, will be held at the graveside this morning at 10 at Victor Valley Memorial Park. Services will be conducted by veterans organizations of Victor Valley including Fred McDougall Post 256, Manuel Casillas Post 685, Leo Collins Post 229, American Legion; Veterans of WWI, Mojave Basin Barracks, and Veterans of Foreign Wars. Bleeker, who made his home in Victorville in 1950 when he moved from Arizona and again since 1961 at Kruse Trailer Park, has lived in the county 10 years, in the state more than three times that long. He was a native of Rockwood, Tex., and served as a mechanic during World War II in England with the 8th Air Corps. He was employed at King's Garage in Oro Grande. Survivors include his widow Nettie, of the Victorville address, and two stepdaughters and four stepsons, all residents of the state.
