Wickenburg Sun (Wickenburg, Arizona) Wednesday, April 19, 2017, p. A-15 Kevin Thomas Avery, 52, of Phoenix passed away on April 4, 2017, to his heavenly home. He was born with his twin brother Kenneth at St. Joseph's Hospital in Phoenix on August 11, 1964. Kevin attended St. Simon & Jude grade school and graduated from Washington High School. Kevin enlisted in the U.S. Army, served four years, and was honorably discharged. In his spare time Kevin enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He especially enjoyed camping, fishing and barbequing. Kevin had a great sense of humor and could always make you laugh. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Kevin is preceded in death by his father Gerald Avery. Kevin is survived by his mother and step-father Sue and Joe Veitenhans of Wickenburg; sisters Aileen (Dan), and Linda; uncle Frank; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Celebration of his life will be held from 2-3 p.m. Friday April 21, at best Funeral Services, 9380 W. Peoria Ave., Peoria AZ, 85345.
