| Prescott Journal Miner, Prescott, Arizona Wednesday, May 6, 1910, page 5, column 3 Dies From Cancer Julia Smith, who had been an inmate of the County Hospital for some months suffering from cancer. She arrived in this city about one year ago, coming from southern Arizona, where she enjoyed an excellent name as a caterer. She attributed her illness mainly to the shock of the San Francisco earthquake, and later the fatal disease developed. Her remains are at Ruffner's and no relatives are known. Her name is said to be an assumed one. She was about 77 years of age. Transcriber's note: Ms. Smith is buried in an unmarked grave at the Citizens Cemetery in Prescott, Arizona. |
