Cornelius (CJ) Johnson, went to be with the Lord on July 11, 2017.
He lived an amazing life that cannot be put into words. His impact
touched many lives.

God gave CJ the gift to mentor and coach many of the youth of
Prescott over the past 20 years. It was his desire to be a positive
influence in their lives, to see them develop their personal
character, achieve academically and to trust in God. They were his
passion!

To the many health providers in Prescott, we want to thank you for
your kindness and personal care you gave CJ over the years. You gave
him more than care, you became his friends.

Cornelius is survived by his wife, Christy; son, Micah; sisters,
Mary and Helen, of Virginia; as well as many relatives and friends.
We all loved his hearty laugh and respected his optimistic joyful
spirit.

A Memorial Celebration will be announced at a later date. Anyone
wishing to give in CJ’s honor please send to the Youth Ministry at
Prescott Christian Church.

Arrangements entrusted to Hampton Funeral Home.
