David Charles Witteman, 55, born in Binghamton, New York, died July
16,
2017, in Dewey, Arizona.

David Charles Witteman, 55, died in Dewey, Arizona on July 16, 2017,
at home. David was born in Binghamton, New York, the son of Charles
and Carol Witteman. He graduated from BOCES and Chenango Forks High
School.

David was an expert mechanic and spent his working career
specializing in Recreation Vehicles, becoming a staple in the
Prescott and Prescott Valley RV communities. He worked for Many
Trails RV, York RV, Galpin Ford, and owned his own business, RV
Masters.

He married Donna Schmidt. They were later divorced.

He is survived by his son, Alexander Charles (Hadley) and grandson,
Kaiden; his father, Charles Dennis (Mary), sisters; Kathleen (Raed
Al-Jallad), Beth (Mark Guley) and brother, Thomas (Andrea), as well
as nieces and nephews; Ali, Kimberly, Breanne, Ronnie, Rachel, Jake
and Jeanna. Also surviving are two step-daughters; Chanel Williams
and Porsche Ray (Joel), whom he loved dearly and treated as his own.
He also leaves his fiancé, Victoria, and many close friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Carol Jeanne and brother,
Charles Joseph.

David spent his leisure time panning and prospecting for gold and
exploring the richness of the desert and the outdoors. He also had a
boundless love for animals and dearly loved his cats; Heidi and Max,
and his dog, Copper.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Monday, July 24, 2017,
from 4 to 6:00 p.m., at the Comfort Inn, in Prescott Valley, Ariz.

He was a kind, gentle and caring soul who had a chuckle that was
endearing. To those whom he desired to share, he was a devout man.

Contributions in memory of David may be made to Yavapai Humane
Society.
