| The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Sunday, July 23, 2017, pages 8a & 10a Edward Basil Mitchell, died Tuesday, July 18, 2017 in Phoenix, Ariz. He recently moved, with his wife, Mary from their Prescott, Ariz. home of 18 years. Edward was born February 18, 1931 in Buckeye, Ariz. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He was admired and will be missed by all who knew him. Survived by his wife of 59 years, Mary Fredrick Mitchell, children; Robert (Linda) Mitchell, Michael (Sandra) Mitchell, Lisa (Donald) Friend, grandchildren; Brittany, Blake, Kathryn, Jack, and Reid Mitchell, Scanlon and Reilly Friend, brother’s-in-law; Christopher (Sandra) Fredrick, Clifford (Viney) Fredrick, sister-in-law, Lillian (Douglas) Greer, and several nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, July 25th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Thomas More, 6180 W. Utopia Rd, Glendale Ariz.
