Betty Sue Allen, 72, of Wickenburg was born April 10, 1943, in Eloy, Ariz., and went home to be with the Father on June 25, 2015. She is predeceased by her parents William and Ina Clark; son Dale Stotler; and brothers Junior and Earl Clark.

She is survived by the love of her life Henry J. Carreras of Wickenburg; her children Sharon and Kevin Sumpter of Bagdad, Vernon and Jackie Stotler of Booneville, Ind., Ina and Tim Wood of Bagdad, Peter and Charlene Stotler of Mancelona, Mich., Debrah and Wes Young of Terra Haute, Ind.; brothers Jim Clark and Gary Clark, both of Casa Grande; sisters Mary Burnett of Buckeye and Myrtle Parton of Troy, Mo.; 24 grandchildren and 95 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, too many to name.

Betty enjoyed nursing, which she did for 43 years. She also loved her animals and would always bring home stray cats, dogs and birds. Mom never met a stranger. She loved everyone. She also enjoyed laughter with a smile on her face and hugs and kisses for all. Mom was the strong one in our lives. She knew how to keep us all happy, and loved us all very much no matter what we got ourselves into. She always got us back on track. Mom will be missed more than words can describe. She had faith and knew when she closed her eyes in this life she would be opening them in heaven.

A celebration of life will be held at 29215 N. 211 Ave. in Wittmann at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 1. In lieu of flowers please donate to ASPCA, that was her passion.
